Little is known about this artist. He was associated with the Shin Hanga movement. Historian Helen Merritt lists an artist known as Shoda Koho with the dates 1875-1925. In “New Wave” by Amy Riegle Stephens he is listed with dates 1871-1946. Apparently these refer to the same artist. Koho Shoda published with Nishinomiya Yosaku (associated with Hasegawa).
