Beautiful shin-hanga design by Koitsu of a rainy night at Ushigome. Two beauties walk along the quiet Kagurazaka street under a gentle rain, the reflected lights shimmering on the wet surface of the street. A large red lantern glows at left, and light spills out from a doorway and windows. A lovely, evocative night scene. Carver was Harada and printer was Yokoi.

Format is Oban Not examined outside of frame but visibly free of rips, tears, and restoration. From a single owner collection of Northern Virginia man. Carver is Harada and Printer is Yokoi. Size of frame is 16.8″x22.3″. Provenance: from invaluable seller Oakridge Auction Gallery of Ashburn, VA.
