Beautiful shin-hanga design by Koitsu of a rainy night at Ushigome. Two beauties walk along the quiet Kagurazaka street under a gentle rain, the reflected lights shimmering on the wet surface of the street. A large red lantern glows at left, and light spills out from a doorway and windows. A lovely, evocative night scene. Carver was Harada and printer was Yokoi.

Format is Oban yoko-e. This is a later post-war edition. Comes in the original presenation mat.
