A rainy day at Kofuku-ji temple and Sarusawa pond in Nara. The Kofuku-ji pagoda towers at 49.5 meter which is the second highest pagoda next to the one at To-ji temple. It was built in 1394-1427.
Format is Oban tate-e. Not examined outside of frame. No flaws or problems viewable in frame. Size of frame is 18.6″x23.6″. Provenance: from invaluable seller Keystone Auctions of York, PA.
