This is no 16 from the series. This print illustrates a samuria of the Taira clan named Tadamori watching a sinister looking man at Gion Temple on a rainy night. He turned out to be an old temple attendant who was poring oil to the lanterns on the temple yard. Tadamori later attacked him to stop the theft. A small tear in the bottom margin of .75″ extending into image. A small void in the upper right corner. Glued to a paper backing. Holes punched in top margin. Some deterioration of bottom margin on the right hand side.

Format is Ogata-chuban.
