Handsome view of farmers planting rice seedlings in June during the rainy season in flooded fields. They place the tender green plants in neat rows. Behind them, a farmer plows a paddy with a horse, preparing it for planting. The blue gray mountains are reflected on the surface of the water below. Beautifully composed with a lovely color palette. Carver is Nagashima and printer is Takenaka.

Format is Oban tate-e. Not examined outside of frame. No flaws or problems visible in frame. Size of frame is 14″x18.8″. Provenance: from eBay seller artholder23 (R. Castro) of Pontiac, MI.
