The bright lights from the windows and lanterns illuminate an otherwise dark and dreary night in drizzling rain. The Rakuhoku neighborhood is north of central Kyoto and has long been considered a gathering place for artists and traditional craftsmen.
Format is Oban yoko-e. Lightly hinged at top to original presentation mat. Printer smudges on bottom margin. Kento cut in lower left corner used to align blocks and is not a flaw. Some toning in the margins.
