Comments | Format diptych yoko-e (2 prints made to go together). Each print is Chuban tate-e. This is a first edition print done circia 1881. Comes sealed in presentation mat with two prints appearing as one. Not examined outside of mat, but appears to be in very good condition. Good color and definition. Small speck in lower right of image. Otherwise, no flaws or problems of note. Visible line in the middle where the two prints have been placed together. Mat size is 15"x13". Provenance: from Arise (Paul Maclardy) of Clinton, MD. Asking price is $210. |
