The cloth hanging at the entrance bears the store logo of Ichiriki tea house in Kyoto. The tea house is famous as a stage for the popular kabuki play, “Kanadehon Chushingura”, 47 Ronin story. Nishijimi made several prints with different views of this tea house.
Format is Chuban yoko-e. Never framed. Gallery sticker verso, Lower left corner slightly bumped. Title written in pencil by artist on the lower margin. Printed on cream-colored paper.
