The Tenman bridge with heavy taffic on the bridge and boats going underneath. The boats are rigged with many lanterns on them for nighttime travel. Format is Oban yoko-e. This is a later edition. Showa era edition printed from recarved woodblocks.



This is no 26 in the series and depicts travellers at Hodogaya on the Tokaido Highway. Two men who are carrying a woman have stopped to rest. Another man is leading a horse with rider and a 6th traveller is walking away with his back to the viewer. He appears to be a samura with straw hat and traditional swords. Pine trees behind the travelers line the road. Mt Fuji looms in the distance. The recarved edtion of 1974 is of smaller size than the original.
