This print depicts two large, long necked, long legged rail birds. Although they do not have webbed feet, they are excellent swimmers. Believedg to be part of the gallinule family, which includes moor hens in Europe and America.

Format diptych yoko-e (2 prints made to go together). Each is Chuban tate-e. This is a first edition print. Comes sealed in presentation mat with small amount of mat separating the 2 sides that go together. Good color and definition. Not examined outside of mat, but appears to be in very good condition. No flaws or problems of note. Mat size is 17.5"x14". Provenance: from Arise (Paul Maclardy) of Clinton, MD. Asking price is $160.
